Look at it: you'll immediately grasp the mindset of the person who designed it. The diagonal milling on the handle scales ensures a firm grip, whether your hands are dry or wet. The fittings are play-free, and the blade markings are understated. For nearly 30 years, Extrema Ratio has crafted knives for those who demand nothing less than absolute reliability. PIXEL comes from the same hand, with the same tolerances and the same refusal to compromise. The difference? It was designed to stay by your side throughout the day. No compromises on quality were made along the way.

How you will carry it
The standard sheath is a complete system in black Kydex with a double Malice clip for belt carry, which represents the ideal setup for the PIXEL. It also includes paracord for neck carry, mounting to MOLLE systems, or securing to anything with a loop or ring—from an everyday backpack to a tool bag, or wherever you decide. For more specific needs, optional accessories are available: Clip, UltiClip, Belt Clip, and shoulder harness. Built ready for anything. Made yours by choice.
Two steels. Choose yours.
Five variants, two personalities. Choose the one that suits you best:
- MAGNACUT (Black, Tactical Mud handle): Burnished blade, aluminum handle scales, black ring and hardware. Absolute top-of-the-category edge retention, paired with a corrosion resistance that—before this steel—seemed incompatible. If you demand the absolute maximum metallurgy can offer today from your edge, your search ends here.
- NITROGEN (Green Carbon Fiber, Tobacco Micarta and Avio G10 handle): Satin blade, steel ring and screws. Nitrogen is the technical specification of Extrema Ratio: dedicated steel selection, machining, and heat-treatment cycle. The practical result? An edge that gets razor-sharp again in a few easy strokes wherever you are, and high corrosion resistance requiring minimal maintenance. Not to mention the most tactile handle scales in the range: the weave of the Green carbon fiber, the warmth of the Tobacco Micarta, the crispness of the Avio G10. If you truly use your knife every single day, this one was made for you.
The five variants at a glance
| Version | Steel and Finish | Personality |
|---|---|---|
| MAGNACUT Black, Tactical Mud | Magnacut, burnished | The peak of hardness and edge retention |
| NITROGEN Green, Tobacco, Avio | Nitrogen, satin | Easy touch-up sharpening, rich tactile materials |

The dimensions of the lineup
The PIXEL, an EDC fixed blade, is the largest format in the BFK series. The scale goes down with MICRO, the sweet spot, and NANO, absolute discretion. Same build quality, three distinct personalities.
Starting tomorrow, you'll open packages a whole new way. Everyone else will keep looking for scissors.
You’re about to discover how many times you actually needed it.
